Turkmenbashi International Airport

International airport of Turkmenbashy has been opened in April, 2010, within the limits of realization of the program of building of the National tourist zone of "Avaza". The new four-storey aerostation complex allows serving to 800 passengers per hour. Besides it, the new cargo terminal equipped with automated system of cargo operation, the control tower equipped with the equipment of company Siemens and Thales is put in operation. The new runway of the airport, length of 2500 meters and width of 80 meters, allows to accept aircrafts of all types.

Comfortable conditions for waiting fast registration and landing of passengers are created at the international airport. There are cash desks of local and international airlines, modern information displays, telescopic gangways, points of international and long distance communication, a left-baggage office, mail at their service. There are cafeterias, buffets, shops duty-free, comfortable CIP hall in a waiting room of passengers. There are conditions for carrying out of meetings and conferences created in the building for reception of VIP-persons
