Trekking on the Kyrgyz Pamir is a great adventure that offers breathtaking scenery, cultural immersion, and physical challenge. The Kyrgyz Pamir is a remote and rugged region located in the eastern part of Kyrgyzstan, near the border with China and Tajikistan. Early arrival in Bishkek where everyone will be picked up at the airport by our driver. Short transfer to your hotel in Bishkek city centre and resting time in the morning. Around midday, meeting at the reception desk with your guide for the general briefing, before enjoying a tasty Kyrgyz lunch. Then we stop at Ala Too Square where you will start a walking tour of Bishkek. You will be able to visit countless parks, the Osh Bazar and get to know your guide. Tonight, everyone will get to know each other at a welcome dinner with a mix of the best local dishes and drinks.

Transfer to airport and flight to Osh before noon. Your guide will meet you at the Aerport Osh. Transfer to the guesthouse. Installation at the hotel and visit the market of Osh that is among the largest and most colorful of Central Asia. In late afternoon, visit the mountains of King Solomon, a former pilgrimage of Zoroastrians. Dinner in town and overnight in guest house.

Early departure. 40 km of the road is paved, 60 km which is not paved. We pass near a dam named Papan. We walk along the river that feeds the Aral Sea. Arriving at the village of Kodjo Kelen for lunch time. Picnic in the nature. Stroll through the ocher cliffs. Back at the village. Dinner and overnight at homestay. Time of transfer: 3/4h Time of walk: 2 hours Vertical drop: 500m + Vertical Drop: - 500m

In the morning, hike to the pass Sary-Mogol by a steep slope in the middle of scree that cross the Alaïski chain. This is the most difficult time of this trek. In the afternoon, we visit the large glacial cirque and lakes, then descend to the lake located on the banks of the lower lake. Overnight in tents. (On that day there will be change in porting team because horses do not cross the pass, grooms carry the luggage to the pass).

In the morning, we go a little hill to climb in the neighboring valley, a small path between the bushes and small meadows. Then the valley turns west and the High Pasture widens amid dozens of peaks. The pass at 4150 m. is deleted in the landscape and without difficulty down to the lake Kosh Koel, up camp. Overnight in tents.

Ride the day in the circus Damdjailoo that conceals several lakes above our camp, picnic at the edge of one of the great lakes. Return to the same camp. Overnight in tents.

Walk down the Kashka-Suu valley

Long descent through pastures facing the Zalay chain culminated with the Lenin peak, to the village of Kashka-Suu. Then transfer the foot of the chain and Zalay installation camp near the Ming-Djar river. Overnight in tents.

Through large alpine valleys, the route crosses many herds and some yurts all along the chain of Pamir. Crossing several small passes. Setting up camp in Kata Bechik Valley on the edge of the glacier of the same name. Overnight in tents.

For the moraine, we reach the glacier Kata Bechik an easily traversed. Breathtaking view of the vertical faces rising to over 6000 meters. In the afternoon, we cross the gorge of the Kaman-Suu river, the path descends to small lakes and sinks to the bed of the river to go back on the shelf. Setting up camp near a lake. (this afternoon, the program can be shortened if the river level is too high. Overnight in tents.

Exploring the glacial cirque of Kaman-Suu glacier, walking 14 km in a magnificent setting at the foot of the western shoulder of the peak Lenin. Return to the same camp. Overnight in tents.

In the morning, we go up to a spine of many colors red ocher. A landscape of exceptional beauty and grandeur offers a panoramic 360 °. We follow the narrow paths formed by sheep and wild goats. Then down to the gorge Tash-Kyungey and camp facility between the rivers at the base of a pyramid. Overnight in tents.

In the morning we descend slightly in the Nitshke-Suu valley to make a pass at 3700 m. We keep our height and go round 2 peaks to reach Lenin Peak Valley. Install our camp in the meadow of Achyk-Tash

Bishkek is one of the greenest cities in Central Asia. About 150 different kinds of trees and bushes are planted in the streets of the city. There are many cinemas, Opera House, Kyrgyz and Russian Drama Theater, Mosques and Orthodox churches, historical complex of the national hero - Manas- “The Manas Ailly”, zoological, geological art and other museums, exhibitions of decorative and applied art, colorful oriental bazaars are others interesting places you are invited to visit.

On bazaar one can see really traditional handiwork of Kyrgyz land and goods from all around the world at reasonable prices. There are remarkable parks and shadowy boulevards Erkindik and Molodaya Gvardia, pensioners like to walk there, sportsmen run along its alleys, kids play and young people date here.

Bishkek - capital, heart of the Kyrgyz Republic, its political, economic, scientific and cultural center, the main transport unit. Bishkek - the location of the supreme bodies of the government of republic, embassies and representations of the foreign states. Bishkek is located in the center of the Chuy valley, at bottom of snow-white mountains of Kyrgyz Ala-Too, at height of 750 m. above sea level.

The area of territory - 160 sq. km, the population - about 1 million person. The city residential areas which have arisen at various times, differ on the planning structure and a degree of an accomplishment. Last years are characterized by occurrence on adjoining to city of territory of some new buildings with the microstructure. The city on administrative-territorial division is broken into 4 areas: Leninsky, Pervomajsky, Sverdlovsky, Oktjabrsky.

In Bishkek the most part of all industry of Kyrghyzstan is located. Feature of planning structure of the city of Bishkek is development of industrial zones along the railway. In city two industrial zones are allocated: east and western. The system of transport and foot ways connects industrial and administrative areas among themselves. Gardening is submitted by squares, parkways, parks, adjoining to city the territory is planted by forest plantations, there are lakes and water pools.

The science and education are submitted by the National academy of sciences and a plenty of average special and higher educational institutions. Bishkek - the center of national culture of Kyrghyzstan. Here there are theatres, a philharmonic society, libraries, museums.

Intensively the information infrastructure of city develops: some Internet providers already work, a plenty of local, global, corporate computer networks is created. Two operators of cellular communication, some operators of a paging and trunk radio communication work.
 

Osh KG

Osh, the second largest city of the Kyrgyz republic, is one of the oldest settlements of Central Asia. It is located in southwestern Kyrgyzstan near the Uzbekistan border in the eastern section of the Fergana Valley. This one of the Central Asia's most interesting cities because of its long history, dating back as least to the 5th century BC - its position as an important crossroads for Silk Road trade and its huge market. For centuries it was a major silk-production center, strategically situated on a trade route to India.

Sights are: the huge bazaar, Sulaimans Throne (a 200 m hill called Takht-i-Suleyman (Solomon's Throne), where the Prophet Muhammad is thought to have prayed and where Muslim pilgrims began visiting in the tenth century), Baburs House (at the top of Sulaimans Throne), several monuments (especially the one of Kurmanjan Datka –  Kyrgyz feminine ruler and engaged warrior against the Russian invasion), the Russian-orthodox church, the biggest mosque of the country (situated right beside the bazaar) and the Rabat Abdul Khan Mosque (16 th century).

The population of Osh is mostly Uzbek. Osh has two universities, a sanatorium, and an airport. Economic activity has been aided by beneficial reforms and consists of the Jayma bazaar; silk trade; mining of zinc, lead, and coal; food processing; and the production of silk, cotton, and wool.

Kosh-Moynok (Kitshik-Alay) KG

A nice campsite in the serene beauty of Kosh-Moynok, a hidden gem nestled in Kyrgyzstan's Kitchik-Alay valley - Surrounded by juniper forests, it's a summer pasture for nomadic herders and a haven for outdoor enthusiasts with its towering peaks, including Kosh-Moynok mountain, higher than 4930 meters, in the heart of the Pamir range. 

On the south west side of our camp the Ming Teke peak stands like a gendarme above our heads, and culminates at 4114 m., the name means the thousand goats in Kyrgyz language.

Kata Beshyk glacier KG

The Kata Beshik glacier was part of the enormous Kungyr Suu glacier. Today, the glacier smelled but still some water flew into the Kata Beshik gorge. The  possible to cross the glacier without mountaineering equipment and link with the Kaman Suu gorge. The layer of rocky debris on the glacier, nomads gave him the name of black glacier. A the neck of Katta-Beshik, the panorama opens on the highest and beautiful peaks of the Pamir, the Lenin Peak 7134m, Tsuriupy Peak 5849m, Krasina Peak 5999m and Dzerjanskovo 6617m on the border with Tajikistan.
