New, but already a popular place among backpackers. It's a nice family house in the center of Dushanbé, in a residence near the Green Market, also known under the local name of Shohmansur. For the moment, there are only dormitories, but a new floor will be built with double and single rooms (ready for spring 2017). There is a common kitchen, 3 showers, a nice garden with tapchan. Maruf and Murod, two brothers, are very friendly, and give useful information.
Safed-Dara Hotel was built in 2016, situated in 50 km from Dushanbe.
The total number of rooms in hotel 54. There are double, twin rooms and suites for 4 persons. Each of them with a TV (cable TV), telephone, heating. All rooms are equipped with showers and toilets.

Safed Dara means the white valley, and it's situated 50 km North of Dushanbé. The old ski resort formerly named Takob was renovated in 2015 and was reopened for the 1st of January 2016. There are 2 T-bar lifts of 1000 meters each, the National ski school, a restaurant and 56 hotel's rooms.
It's also a very good spot for any mountain sport : mountain biking, horse riding, backcountry skiing, ski-touring, hiking, mountaineering.
Dushanbe is the capital and largest city of Tajikistan. Dushanbe means "Monday" in the Tajik language. It was so named because it grew from a village that originally had a popular market on Mondays. As of 2014, Dushanbe has a population of 778,500.
Museum of Musical Instruments situated in the center of Dushanbe is open since 1990 on the basis of a private collection Gurminj Zavkibekov (1929-2003) gifted folk artist. The special value of the collection is the most beautiful Kashgar Setar, who encrusted with ivory. The oldest setar is about 300 years old. Also in the other rooms are located in other departments devoted to clothing, household goods and household items, which are more than 400-500 years old. Today the museum is managed by Pamiri musicians who are ready to play some songs of Pamir.
