On the road to Kilemche and horseback riding to the Song Kul lake
In the early morning, we'll meet our guide in Bishkek and begin our journey westward. Passing through the vibrant Boom Canyon, we'll traverse southward via the Kubakö Pass, reaching an elevation of 2080 meters and enjoying panoramic view of the Orto Tokoi reservoir. Our next stop is Kochkor, where we'll visit the handicraft women's association before continuing our journey through the Kyzart Pass. Descending into the lush Jumgal Valley, we'll arrive at the Kilemche jailoo for a leisurely lunch. Afterward, we'll embark on a horseback ride, crossing the Jalgyz Karagay Pass at an altitude of 3437 meters along a steep nomadic trail leading to Song Kul Lake. Finally, we'll descend to the Tuz Ashuu jailoo, situated on the shores of the magnificent Song Kul Lake, where nomads gather during the summer months. We'll spend the night and enjoy dinner in a traditional yurt.

Horseback riding to village Jumgal and on the road to Bishkek
Following breakfast, we set out from the shores of Song Kul Lake, embarking on a horseback ride to traverse the Uzbek Pass, boasting an elevation of 3450 meters. From this vantage point, we're treated to sweeping panoramic vistas of Song Kul Lake and the picturesque Jumgal Valley below. Descending, we journey to the village of Kyzart, passing numerous yurt camps nestled amidst the mountainside. After a satisfying lunch, we commence our journey back to Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, traversing the scenic Boom Canyon. By late afternoon, we arrive back in Bishkek, concluding our memorable adventure.
1 week of exploration around Kel-Suu at the top, despite the vagaries of the weather. We can only salute the seriousness and professionalism of the agency. Easy contact, team attentive. In addition to being able to discover a place that is difficult to access for independent hikers - and absolutely superb - we also took a real pleasure in getting into Kyrgyz culture more deeply. A big thank you to our great guide (Fabien) for having been able to motivate us whatever the circumstances, inventing new recipes based on kurut and allowing us to better understand the country. We hope to be able to leave with Nomad’s Land as soon as possible!
Sincerely, all the services were perfect: guide, hotel, accompaniment following the loss of luggage (by plane), rapid recovery, listening, explanations, sightseeing tours, full and copious meals, logistics, welcome at local people's homes, discovery of the country's customs and nature, .... Then the mountains, frankly a perfect service despite the language difficulties, expedition tent meals shower at altitude safety drink acclimatisation comfort ...... Yes, afterwards at 6000 or 7000 it's cold, but we suspected it ...... In short, we'll certainly be back next year to .... higher with the same guide and the SAME service ....
